Yesterday, I had a chance to listen to Iliana Raeva describing, literally depicting, some aspects of the forthcoming 2018 Worlds organisation, and it was just ,wow, really impressive. A lot of super creative ideas on every single aspect of the organisation, and especially the concomitant one Bulgarian federation is in charge of: from the extra role and involvement expected from the volunteers to the new film about Bulgaria especially shot for the championship, and to the Friday’s surprise for the delegations right after the competition (a performance with ethnic flavour “which can only be seen in Bulgaria and nowhere else in the world”)… We have already read, in multiple publications, how infectious the zeal of the event management is to anyone else involved in the organisation, so I thought, that exact visualising, making listeners see in their minds what Iliana Raeva and her team see, must be one of the most powerful ways to ignite people’s enthusiasm...

On another hand, It is a pity that apparently not every managing staff member shares the same concept; their conceptual differences do not seem to have been cleared up within the team. Because immediately after this inspiring presentation, tete-a-tete, the same audience could hear part of her dismissed and actually turned out to 180 degrees. Nevertheless, even if just half of the wowing vision gets realised, the event can still become a benchmark for Bulgarian RG, RG and even wider.

So being part of 2018 Worlds in Sofia is definitely worth, including as public in the hall or in front of the screen, or in any other way you can, e.g. like mine here ;) Photographing/shooting short videos from anything interesting you witness related to thus event, and posting them on your Facebook timeline (share theme here too ;)), making photo collages with your favourite gymnasts, coaches, … Through our own interpretations, each of us recreates the event, gives their unique prospect of it, and it is totally in the spirit of our times, when interpretation often means more than the actual happening itself.
