Stable 1st day for Bulgaria at 2018 Worlds

Stable first performances from the Bulgarian team as far as I could see online.. The YouTube videos let us see them more closely. A very good start generally. Good job.

Boryana Kaleyn again showed her enormous potential to be among the shiniest gynasts in the world aspiring for the most precious medals, provided she performs clean, and more importantly if it can be done against the odds, i.e. despite the massive poliical propaganda campaigns in Bulgaria... The latter, in my opinion, is just part of global political calculations amd underwater currents...

Really, can an independent RG talent succeed in Bulgaria nowadays? Can Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics, which is very much based on civil foundations today and is managed relatively ndependently from the state structures, be a political factor by successfully dealing with all the unfavourable political currents ? This is the political shade which we can only infer and observe through the actions and actual happenings and not from words on media.

Another thing overshadowing a fan's joy is that not much of 2018 Worlds can be watched on TV; media coverage do not allow fans to watch as much as they want to, again, and to be in control of what they watch themselves... I myself had real troubles trying to watch BNT3 online yesterday, as it would show BNT4 instead, despite the fact that the address shown was of BNT3/BNT World... The Belarusian TV5 I turned to was showing another sport too... II would love watching other gymnasts too, not just Bulgarian ones...

It seems to me an anachronism to rely on TV only nowadays, and I wonder if FIG can't realy ensure online streaming on YouTube or similar, even if paid... Balance between the interest of the public (especially passionate like the Bulgarian one) and the financial interests of the TVs can certainly be found..
