Exclusive: ERIKA ZAFIROVA IS JOINING THE NATIONAL GROUP

The extremely talented Erika Zafirova of the national RG team we are used to seing performing individually is joining the brilliant national group before the coming 2018 Worlds in Sofia.

The group needs her support because two titulars are temporarily out with traumas, e.g. Elena Bineva and Teodorai Alexandrova, so the only remaining reserve Kamelia Stoilova should either join the four titulars or be standing by as backup for any of their positions.

Probably, they don't yet know if Eli will be in condition to participate at 2018 WCh. We wish her quick recovery and really hope that she gets better soon, but she may have missed the crutial training period before this most important RG event for the year. So the choice may well be between Erika and Kamelia for the Worlds.

Erica has never been part of a RG group so far, but has got experience at international tournaments (even though none of the range of world cups or world challenge cups), and has enchanted both audience and experts with her talent and performances. It may be a golden chance for her to participate at this year's major RG event.

Kamelia has already been in the national group as a reserve player for an year and a half or two, and is a wonderful and beautiful girl and gymnast. But she has not actually participated at any competition with the group yet. Nevertheless, she may well be the choice of the management, should it come to it.

We will see... Whatever the choice, the Bulgarian national group certainly has all the capacty and strenght to compete for the most precious medals at 2018 Worlds in Sofia 📷:)
