The video below is of the Bulgarian 6 balls routine at 1987 Worlds in Varna, Bulgaria, and clearly shows why Bulgaria was so successful. The times and RG have changed, but the mastery, difficulty , and zeal can not be mistaken.
If we make a table on 1980s "Greatest RG Wins", similar to this one https://ask1rgfan.wixsite.com/ask1bulgarianrg-fan/bg, BG (Bulgaria) will have to be put in almost every box, as the country's leadership in this sport was smashing in both individual and group competitions for about 15 years in a raw starting with the late 70s. But the table starts with 1994, because RG wasn't among the Olympic sports at that time... It's the last year when RG groups involved 6 gymnasts... 1994 was included in the table aforementioned as a link with and reminder of the previous period.

Fortunately, RG is undergoing great and increasing popularity and development all over the world nowadays, and there are many countries capable to compete for the highest prises.
